What a 57th Anniversary for us and a 56th
Anniversary for our friends we spent in your restaurant! We would love to be
able to thank the young couple who paid for our dinners. It was also special to
be able to share my faith with Will Osgood. So thankful for fellow believers.
Hopefully we can return. God Bless all of you. Bernard & Nella Kreuzer
Grand Rapids, MI. And, Jack & Earldine Chapin.
Thank you so much for the wonderful food brought in for the
John Hardy event at our store. The food display was really impressive. And the
food, of course, was superb! We look forward to doing business in the future
with you. Linda Normington with Reis Nichols.
Thank you so much for a wonderful baby shower. Thank you for
allowing us to host the shower at Pipers. The food was great – we had so
many compliments. Thank you for being so flexible with the change of date. You
have no idea how grateful I am for that. We had a wonderful time & I
appreciate everything. Thank you – we definitely will be calling for
catering & passing the word. God Bless. Suzz Carr
Thank you so much for all your hard work in getting our
reception together. The food was wonderful and your staff was friendly.
Everyone has commented on how good the food was! We really enjoyed working with
you and look forward to seeing you again at the restaurant! Ryan & Katie
Smith
I wanted to express my appreciation at the excellence of
service both from you and from your staff that I have received. Everything that
I have had catered by Pipers has been a resounding success! Thank you and I
look forward to working with you again! Angie McCarthy from Ice Miller.
Just a quick note to say how awesome the “Insight to
Freedom” conference was and for your nailing it fantastic all
weekend! Your tireless commitment to our seminar made it a week to remember!
May God give you all you desire! The food was awesome! God Bless, love
ya’ll Brad Norman.
While plans were being made for our Christie reunion, Marge
recommended Chef Osgood and his great talent in preparing wonderful food.
Everyone at the reunion agreed that Marge and Mr. D were “Right on target” in
the recommendation of you. What a GOURMET BUFFET! Everyone’s comments were very
complimentary. Thank you for helping to make our reunion successful. Good luck
with your new business venture. God Bless You!! Gratefully, Peg Reynolds
(Marge’s Cousin)
I try to keep up-to-date on what is happening in the lives
of our Christian friends. Word reached me of the scheduling slip up with a
group of teachers from Greenwood. You were gracious in going the extra mile to
follow the group to House of Tokyo and pay for their meal with funds that you
really do not have at this time. This was a typical and distinctive Christian
response – that you did it does not surprise me. Simply, a witness to the
reality of Jesus in your life. I feel the need to share this income loss and
extra expense. Thus, this note and gift. For me, it is a praise to Jesus and
authenticates the sign over your door. Faith without works is dead. Faith with
works puts a smile on Jesus’ face. Looking forward to seeing you on Friday a
couple weeks from now. Quentin & Pat.
We have thought of you so often – especially since you
started your restaurant. It is such a wonderful place to come and fellowship
with others and enjoy such delicious food. But we know you are working so very
hard and we simply wanted to write to encourage you, tell you how much we love
you, and to assure you that we are praying for you. Through the difficult times
in our lives, we have been uplifted by the restful words from Deuteronomy, “The
eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.” We know
that you are in good “arms” and we are so thankful for that place. We also know
from Jeremiah that your future is assured, “For I know the plans I have for
you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to
give you hope and a future.” Praise God for such peace in the knowledge that we
cannot fail. We pray that your labor is joyful to you and that you
rejoice in the Lord always. Don & Marge Dutie
My husband and I want to thank you for the excellent meal
you gave us as a igft on March 15, 2007. We were thrilled to find out that the
delicious meal we had just eaten was a present. Your food has always been
outstanding. My mother was a home economics teacher for over thirty years, so I
grew up with fine food. We will continue to savor your food at your lovely new
location. We just ate at your place tonight… and it was great. The chocolate
cake, steak, salmon, and candied carrots made a great meal. Thanks again for
the free meal. Sincerely, Don & Cindy Fread.
Thank you so much for the wonderful evening at your new
location. All our meals were delicious as we did share a bite with each other.
You have been blessed with a great staff and everyone was so friendly. To me
that is just as important as a good meal. Again, thank you for your generosity
in inviting us to help celebrate your new location. We will see you soon! Penny
& Richard
Thanks so much for the fabulous “practice” evening. It was
over the top…beautiful new facility, super wait staff, and we already knew
about the food. Superb. Truly will become our favorite. Nice article in the
Southside Times. Good to see that smiling face. Nice to read about an old Navy
man. Enclosed is a picture of our Navy man. These are “Seals” – Navy
Seals. There is a Seal compound at Attebury. Next time they’re up, we’ll bring
them to Pipers. Best wishes for a long great success in the new location.
Sincerely, The Dixons Thom & Jeri and the De Boers
