Things to Consider

Prior to requesting a proposal, it’s important to sit down and envision your perfect event, imagining yourself at the event and taking note as to what you see and what you want to see. Some things you need to consider are:

• Date, Day and Time
• Location of the event
• Approximate number of guests
• Feel of the event, as in casual, formal, or in-between.
• Type of seating
• Style of service, as in buffet, appetizer stations, formal platted sit down.
• Colors and décor. Are you thinking about a theme, like seaside, or seasonal?
• Bar service
• Type of food
• Entertainment or a DJ
• Other things you would like to see at the event.
• A realistic budget that you have to work within.

After you have taken some notes, then Pipers can begin to create your event and provide a ‘first draft’ proposal to get the planning process started. If at any time you feel overwhelmed, or confused, come in and sit down and let our professional planners and coordinators show you pictures and explain the different options that are available help you in the planning process. Also, in an effort to make your life easier, we have a list of preferred vendors at different price points, that we know will perform with excellence for you. That is why we are here, is to make your life easier and create, plan and execute an event that will please you and leave your guests “WOWed”.

We are a full service caterer, so we can help you with all the “other” stuff that might just put your event over the top, such as: Magicians, clowns, bands, scaffolding, soft furniture, live plants and on and on. Don’t hesitate to ask, as we access to anything and everything!
