Will Osgood - Head Chef and Owner
Will Osgood is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park New York. Will brings over thirty-five years of diverse culinary experience to Pipers Premier Caterers, and has worked in over forty food service establishments during the course of his career. He spent over ten years in the corporate sector with such companies as Steak & Ale, Host International, Restaura, and L.S. Ayres (May Company). He has worked in all facets of the industry from four star classic French to industrial feeding and in several different regions of the country.
Will has facilitated parties of up to 5,000 and has managed as many as one hundred events in one day! Imagine the skill, preparation, and the dedication something like that would take! He prides himself in a customized detailed approach to every event and plate of food he serves. He strongly believes that you do "whatever it takes" to make people happy. This mentality has gotten Will to where he is today. Will is not happy unless you are happy.
Will is constantly working to create new exciting foods and is well connected with other caterers and chefs in different areas of the country in an effort to stay "in front" of trends in the Indianapolis market. He puts a lot of emphasis to continued education on all of the people he works with. Will is a hands on owner, who greatly enjoys developing relationships with his guests (clients).
Tania Lipe - Sales and Event Manager, Pipers Grand Manor
Tania Lipe has loads of experience in the food industry. She has worked in the food service profession for over seventeen years and had two years of culinary education at Central Nine Career Center located in Greenwood, Indiana. Tania likes to focus on pastries when in the kitchen.
She is a very talented pastry chef and also possesses great hands-on culinary skills in everything she produces. Tania acts as the main event and facility coordinator as well here at Pipers Premier Caterers. Tania handles all of the booking, proposals and initial meetings with prospective clients, including food tastings. Tania wears many hats and we are glad to have her on staff here at Pipers.
Chloe Chappelle - Sales/Event Manager, Pipers West
Chloe has been with Pipers for two years and recently received her degree in Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management from Indiana University. She discovered her passion for hospitality when coordinating fabulous and creative events for her sorority at IU. She then explored planning events as an intern with Pacers Sports and Entertainment. Her personality, trendiness and dedication makes her a perfect fit for Pipers.
Kimberly Lamanna - Sales/Event Manager, Pipers at the MarottKimberly is a driven young woman who comes to Pipers with twelve years of experience in the hospitality industry. Her attention to detail and leadership skills stem from her experience in the U.S. Army, while her organization and business knowledge come from her education at Ivy Tech. She has a desire to please and a passion for success. With her designer's eye, she puts together well-functioning and beautiful events at the Marott.
Jim Assendelft - Executive Catering Chef, Pipers at the Marott
Don't tell child services, but Chef Jim began his cooking career at the age of 13 making pizzas in Detroit. He didn't stop there, moving to Indianapolis in 1982 with stints at Captain Alexander's Wharf and Garden on the Green at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. In 1986 Jim began a 20 year run as the chef at the highly acclaimed Glass Chimney and Deeter & Gabe's. Throughout those years Jim worked alongside his friend Will, working at Pipers in the restaurant and catering. In 2006, Jim joined the team full time as the restaurant chef until January of 2011 when he took the helm as executive chef at the esteemed Marott.
