Tinker Coffee Roasters and Chocolate Espresso Bread Pudding
Today we had a little time to play in the kitchen. Some ideas started to get thrown around as to what we should try to make and we settled on some Chocolate Bread Pudding. If you've ever had our Bourbon Bread Pudding, you know how great bread pudding can be when it's done right.
So we took our recipe and made a few tweaked it just a little, subtracting the raisins and almonds and adding a few new ingredients. The icing is where we all were going crazy, once we added some espresso to the icing made from locally-roasted coffee.
Tinker Coffee Roasters are a relatively new roaster located near 16th and Alabama streets close to downtown Indy. They have a selection of different beans from different regions and I have yet to taste a bad cup.
Check them out! You can find some of their beans at the new Wildwood Market in Fountain Square or Goose the Market. Better yet, stop in at their roaster and I'm sure they'd love to tell you a little bit about their roasts and send you home with a bag!
